Work at Terabyte
Are you passionate about innovation in Digital Media? Terabyte people are inspired, dedicated, hardworking, and talented.
Current Opportunities
Intermediate .Net Developer

Did you start your programing career hoping to one day be like
Matthew Broderick in WarGames and defeat a super computer with a
simple game of noughts and crosses? Perhaps you look like
Angelia Jolie or Tommy Lee Miller, we wouldn't complain, just as
long as you don't think development chops are best earned by
watching the movie Hackers.
Whilst we can't promise that you'll be solely responsible for
saving the world or getting the girl/guy, there is a good chance
that you'll work on some freakingly cool clients and learn a range
of killer skillz (that's right; skills with a 'z').
That, coupled with access to some of the best minds to ever
grace the world of 1's and 0's, will allow us to increase your
awesomeness through Umbraco certification. Imagine how proud your
mum will be!
However, you must come prepared and prove you are worthy of
carrying that packed lunchbox of C#, JavaScript, XSLT, Razor, SQL,
.Net web applications knowledge.
Now's the time to show us what you can do (legally), impress us
with your enthusiasm for all things internet and blow our minds
(virtually please).
Shoes are required. Thanks.
Position requirements (without the fluff)
- Core understanding and proficiency in using C#, JavaScript,
XSLT, Razor, SQL, .Net web applications.
- Additional experience in the following is not required but will
help: Umbraco, Sitecore, MVC, ORM/Linq/L2E, web services,
JQuery and TDD
- You must have the aptitude to make key technical architecture
decisions, provide proven technical solutions and work well within
a team.
- You will also need to demonstrate client facing experience and
the fine art of translating and communicating technical lingo.
- Desire to learn and improve
- Relevant commercial experience

We could tell you all about the great clients we have, the
hilarious XSLT banter we share at lunchtimes or the insane specs of
our computers but to tell you the truth, that's all just
bollocks.
This is work and work is hard. Let's not beat around the bush,
when that deadline is looming and you've still got to get through a
screen full of bugs it can get pretty Starship Troopers out there.
But this is the real world and we would not have it any other way.
No, thank you.
It has never been a better time to be in the web industry,
especially when there is so much potential for growth in business
and career - and what's better than hanging out with a bunch of
like-minded people and owning the programming world by solving some
mind-melting exception error. Hell yeah!
So if you can walk the walk and demonstrate your understanding
of C#, JavaScript, XSLT, Razor, SQL, .Net web applications, sport
the scars of the commercial battle field and have the chops to rock
it in the development world whilst facing MVC with no fear and are
eager to become certified in Umbraco, then dammit, we want to see
you.
